1860 Alum Rock Apartments is a new construction, mixed-use affordable housing community designed to provide high-quality, welcoming homes for individuals and families in the Alum Rock neighborhood of San Jose. This thoughtfully planned 60-unit, five-story development combines modern residential living, community-focused amenities, and supportive services to create a vibrant place where residents can thrive.
The community offers a diverse selection of affordable apartment homes, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom residences designed to accommodate a variety of household sizes. All homes are reserved for households earning between 30% and 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI), helping provide stable and accessible housing opportunities for residents in need.
In partnership with the County of Santa Clara Office of Supportive Housing, 50% of the apartment homes will be designated for Rapid Re-Housing households, connecting residents with housing stability and supportive resources.
